GIFFORD -- Kids ran to school this morning eager to get back in the classroom. School was in session at Gifford Elementary for the first time in a week Monday.

The grade school reopened after many spent last week cleaning up storm damage. The school offered free lunch for students, along with extra help watching kids before and after school.

Some students got together to pray for their peers before class. The school will offer free lunch and help with daycare again Tuesday.

A multi-agency center will open for any storm victims who need help or questions answered. It will be open in Gordyville from 10 am - 6 pm. You just need a proof of address.
