URBANA -- Heroes were celebrated at Leal Elementary Friday. Third and fourth graders learned about Martin Luther King Junior's vision and impact. They were then sent home to talk to their families about who their heroes were. Each student did an essay, speech or artwork about their hero.

It was all compiled and turned into a film which everyone watched for the first time. While some students focused on parents and grandparents as their hero, others selected presidents and entrepreneurs.
