CHAMPAIGN -- Students took a trip to the past Friday. 8th graders at Franklin Middle School put on a Holocaust Museum. Almost 200 students paired up and picked a topic. Then, they made a booth to teach people about the horrific historical event.

Students say it was an eye-opening project. The museum is the end of the students' five-week learning unit about the Holocaust. It's the school's eighth year putting on the museum.
