DECATUR -- After months of waiting, students at Eisenhower High School walked into their new building. A one-cent sales tax allowed the district to spend nearly $40 million on renovations. Over the last 18 months, students moved to Stephen Decatur Middle School.

The new building is an open concept and teachers say it's a great environment to learn. Students say this is a new start for their high school. The school's theme this year is "Our School, Our Time, Our Pride." All of the students got t-shirts, wristbands and, of course, a tour of their new school.
