UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- Zombies may be dead, but they're still alive in pop culture. Four students at UI explored why zombies are so popular in film and on TV.

They each wrote a chapter in a book called, Thinking Dead: What the Zombie Apocalypse Means. It examines why we love these fictional creatures.

If you love zombies, you can buy the hardcover edition online from Amazon.
