URBANA -- About 75 students are spending their days at King Elementary for summer school. Wednesday, they celebrated the end of the session by showing off some dance moves for their parents. Kids say the dance was hard, but they enjoyed the chance to learn something new.

5th grader, Sariah Townsend Cooper, said, "The most fun part of coming to summer school is art because I love to do art. I wanted to come to summer school because there's nothing really to do at home."

6th grader, Ariana Hopkins, said, "In the morning time, we do reading, writing and math. Then, in the afternoon, we'll do a lot of fun stuff and go on field trips."

Students also got certificates and cookbooks after finishing a program called Kids in the Kitchen. Classes wrap up Thursday.
