Sun not really shining on Land of Lincoln

ILLINOIS -- When it comes to solar energy, the state is looking pretty dim. A new report shows Illinois had a four percent increase in using solar power last year. That's not much compared to other states. Some saw double or triple growth.

Researchers at the University of Illinois blame government policy and other limitations. The UI has already built a fully-functional solar house. Work on a solar farm could start later this year.
