Suspect freed after reports of gun on ISU campus

NORMAL -- A man who police believed brought a weapon to ISU's campus has been released. The Chicago man was arrested for disorderly conduct Tuesday while in town visiting an ISU student.

She called police reporting he had a gun and showed it to her. Authorities say they determined the man only implied having a gun. No charges have been filed.
