Suspects sought in armed robberies

DANVILLE -- Police are investigating two armed robberies. Both happened within one week.

The most recent was Wednesday at the Mach One Gas Station on Gilbert Street. Authorities say a man with a gun entered the store about 3 am and demanded money. He ran out with cash.

He's described as a white man, thin, 5'9", wearing a red-hooded jacket, ski mask, jeans and gloves.

The other robbery was Tuesday morning in an alley near Walnut and Franklin streets. Police say this suspect had a gun and demanded money from someone walking by. He also got away with cash.

He's described as a black man with a mustache, in his 30's, 5'9", about 160 lbs.
