ILLINOIS -- Taxpayers will get a breakdown on state spending when they open up our tax returns next year.

The idea is from comptroller Judy Barr Topinka. She believes it'll help taxpayers tay on top of state spending.

From education to medicaid, you'll see what each agency spends and you'll see what bills are upaid.

The information will be with every tax return sent out in 2014. You can also find it at illinoiscomptroller.com
