Teen pleads guilty to weapons charge

CHAMPAIGN -- An area teen faces prison time for having a loaded gun in a public park. It happened last month at Douglass Park. 18-year old Jamonhe Watkins says he had the .38 for protection after someone shot at him. He pleaded guilty to aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He faces 1 - 3 years in prison when he's sentenced in mid-September.
