Teen sentenced to 22-years for armed robbery

URBANA -- A Champaign teen who pleaded guilty to armed robbery was sentenced to 22-years in prison Wednesday. Devin McClendon, 18, of the 400-block of East Beardsley, is one of four people police say were involved in the hold up of the Savoy Sonic on July 3.

Tawan Williams, 17, Sherman Kaliel Bragg and Natasha Duvall, both 19, are all charged. Duvall was a Sonic employee at the time of the robbery.
