CHAMPAIGN -- A teen finally got the chance to meet the man doctors say saved his life. Damon Stillman and his family met Kent Ferguson at a restaurant this weekend.

Earlier this week, Stillman was driving home from work when he hit a patch of ice and went through the windshield. Kent Ferguson stopped his car and took Stillman to the hospital, but he left before anyone got there.

The family put out a request on Facebook to find him. Saturday, Stillman was able to say, "Thank you."

"It’s a hard feeling to describe. It’s amazing. He truly did save my life after my wreck. The first thing I was really pushing to try to find out was who he was and to meet him and to thank him."

Ferguson says anyone would've done the same thing.
