Three men steal cash from senior

WAPELLA -- Authorities are investigating the theft of more than $1,000 from an elderly victim. It happened about 12:30 pm, Sunday, along Route 51.

The suspects knocked at the victim's door and offered to fix a concrete sidewalk. The victim produced $400 cash from inside the home. While the primary suspect diverted the victim's attention, another suspect entered the home and stole additional cash. No work was done.

The suspects are described as three white men, between the ages of 30 - 40. They drove a black, Dodge pickup truck. A boy, under the age of 10, was inside the truck at the time of the incident.
