ILLINOIS -- State tolls can cost a pretty penny and a new scam could cost drivers even more. People who have an I-PASS or E-ZPass are getting emails. The I-PASS is just for Illinois. The E-ZPass gets a driver through several states.

The email states the person hasn't paid a toll and they can click on a link to pay the fee. Several people have already fallen for the scam. One woman says she almost fell for it. The real E-ZPass Service Center does not send emails. It always sends notices through postal mail.
