CHAMPAIGN COUNTY  -- About 80 officers were on hand this weekend to help with marathon traffic. There were some route changes this year. The roads weren't completely closed off in parts of Champaign, so runners shared the streets with drivers and people from other races.

At one point downtown, some marathon leaders had to pass the 10K runners. When needed officers jumped in to help direct traffic. Police say for the most part things went pretty smoothly. All roads are now back open.
