Traffic rerouted for rollover accident

VERMILION COUNTY -- An accident on I-74 East backed up traffic for miles. It happened just before the Oakwood exit about 10 am. State police say both a truck and semi blocked both eastbound lanes. Traffic had to be rerouted.

Crews spent three hours cleaning it up. Authorities say the driver ran off the road when he was reaching for his Bluetooth. He wasn't seriously hurt.

VERMILION COUNTY -- One person was hurt in a rollover accident on I-74 East Friday morning. It happened near the Oakwood exit about 10 am. State police say both a truck and semi are blocking both lanes of I-74 East.

Crews are working to clear the area. Traffic is being rerouted at the Fithian-Rankin exit. Drivers can get back on I-74 at Oakwood. Police say someone was hurt, but they're not releasing any more information at this time.
