GEORGETOWN -- Budget cuts are affecting how some kids get to school. Students K - 12 have to walk or be driven to transportation hubs if they want to be picked up by the school bus.

One of those hubs is at Pinecrest. That is where Tammy Reinbold's daughter is supposed to go. The problem is that it is more than a mile away from their home. Reinbold say she isn't comfortable letting her walk that far and she doesn't have a car.

Students are supposed to be to their hubs by 7:00 each morning. Other stops include Mary Miller Junior High and Ridge Farm Elementary. Preschool students still get picked up in their own neighborhoods.
