MT. ZION -- Two Decatur men face charges for holding up a resale shop at gunpoint. It happened Monday afternoon about 1:20 pm at Styles & Smiles in the 200-block of Debby Drive.

Police say 22-year old Brennan Madison and 23-year old Melvin Tate were arrested just minutes after the crime and only a few miles away when an officer spotted their vehicle. Investigators say two guns were seized, including a .357 Magnum reported stolen in Warrensburg last summer.

Madison and Tate face preliminary charges of armed robbery and aggravated possession of stolen firearms. They're being held on $75,000 bond.
