The School of Business is the first business school in the country to have them. Students put a design on an SD card, put it in the printer and within minutes it creates a 3D design. Professors say the printers will prepare students for new technology.
"It's changing the research we're doing for the better. It's pushing us in new directions that otherwise we might not have thought we could even do. It's opening doorways that we didn't even realize were there," associate professor Jeffrey Loewenstein said.
The printers will soon be moved to a brand new lab. A course on how to use them will start next year.
