UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS -- It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for UI student, Tad Logullo. During commercial breaks of The Ellen Show, he said everyone got up and danced. He didn't get to meet Ellen because of her busy schedule.

He took his girlfriend with him. Logullo said everyone from his hometown in Greenville, IL, knew he won the contest. He didn't miss any school work because he did it on the plane.

BURBANK, CA -- Ellen DeGeneres, who hosted the Oscars, personally invited a University of Illinois student to her show Monday. Sophomore Tad Logullo scored his VIP tickets by dressing up as the Joker last week on the quad.

Monday was Ellen's post-Oscar show. She interviewed some of the award winners. At the end, Ellen gave her audience members Blu-Ray copies of the Oscar-nominated movies and free pizza.
