UI to ask for more money in 2015

URBANA -- The University of Illinois is expected to ask for more money from the state in 2015. Representatives say the school will request about $87 million more in 2015 than it was given this year.

The state allocated more than $660 million as part of this year's budget. It represented a 6% cut last year. The extra money would help the school recruit students and faculty and stay competitive.
