Unemployment rates dropping

CHAMPAIGN -- The unemployment rate here is lower than the national average. The city's unemployment rate dropped from 6.8% to 5.8%. It's one of the best in the state.

The mayor says the university and the city have worked together to create opportunity, but small businesses are at the heart of the growth. Good news for small businesses; the city just approved a new small business incentive to help owners.
