An Urbana man will spend the rest of his life in federal prison. Monday, 35-year old Terrion Herman received the mandatory minimum sentence. In June 2011, a jury convicted him of a single count of possession of 50 grams or more of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.
Court documents show Urbana police executed a search warrant for Herman's apartment at 1200 S. Vine on February 3, 2010. At the time, Herman was on parole with four prior drug convictions.             Herman was arrested when officers found 93.8 grams of crack cocaine inside the back of a clock. A digital scale and plastic bags were also recovered.
