GIFFORD -- Many storm victims not only lost their homes, but their identities as well. A lot of important documents, like licenses and social security cards were destroyed.
Tuesday, dozens will be able to get help with that. Gordyville will be the central location for victims to meet with state agencies like Human Services and the Department of Commerce. It will be open from 10 am - 6 pm.
ILLINOIS -- Many of the victims from Sunday's tornadoes are left with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, but a new state law will make it a little easier to replace some things. For the next 30 days, you can get a replacement drivers license, car title or other personal document for free.
The state says it will speed up paperwork to be processed in two days or less. If you need new documents, go to your local Secretary of State's office. The service is only for people living in declared disaster areas.
