SIDNEY -- There will soon be a new place to get books in town and it is all thanks to some handy people taking action. The library currently sits in a 640-square foot building downtown and is in need of some upgrades.

Now, thanks to some grant money, it's getting it. All the books and DVD's will move down the street to a new 3,000 square foot space. All the work is being done by volunteers.

The new library will feature a computer area and kids reading area. They hope to have it finished by fall. To donate to the cause, call the library at (217) 688 - 2332.
