CHARLESTON -- A Rockford man, wanted for murder, is waiting to be extradited to Winnebago County. 25-year old Donald Falls was arrested early Sunday morning after police got a report of a suspicious person and a possible stolen vehicle in the 600-block of Lincoln in Charleston.
Falls was seen in the area and fled from an officer who tried to stop him. When Falls was taken into custody, he gave a false name. When officers determined his true identity, it was discovered Falls was wanted on outstanding warrants for first degree murder and armed violence. He's also wanted in Cook County for failure to appear for armed violence.
