WCIA-3 crew follows your donations to Oklahoma, Part 1

MOORE, OK -- Earlier this week, you donated more than $11,000 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for victims of Oklahoma's tornado. Now's your chance to see how your support is helping. WCIA-3's report Jessica Shaw and photojournalist Alan Balch traveled to Moore, OK, to see firsthand the devastation and relief efforts.

The Moore Community Center is now a makeshift volunteer and aid center. People come here to get food, water or medical help.

The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management estimates 4,000 homes and businesses have been destroyed. But, donations continue pouring in from all over.

Volunteers say they've had people come from as far away as England to help. Items still needed are clothing and electronics. The Red Cross has food and water covered.
