It's been more than a week since the tornado hit. This area is ground zero when it comes to debris and destruction. Before Moore starts rebuilding, it still has to clean all this up.
Families say they've seen so much help pour in. Volunteers are coming from Louisiana, Missouri and, of course, Central Illinois. Marcy Lawhead, of Rantoul, was able to bring a load of donations collected by 4-H and the DeWitt Riding Club.
"We're just here to help out people, horses, animals-in-need. If something happens to us, they would certainly return the favor."
"Their items have come in and they're already going out. They haven't even been here an hour."
Lawhead drove more than 600 miles to get here, taking just over 11 hours. She says it's worth it after seeing just how much help is really needed.
