West Nile death

DUPAGE COUNTY -- An elderly man is dead, and public health officials are pointing to West Nile Virus. It's the first death related to the illness in the state this year. The man died last weekend after having been diagnosed with the virus earlier this month.

Nearly 700-cases have been reported across the country this year. That's the highest number since the virus was detected in the U.S. in 1999. 21-cases have been reported in Illinois this year.
