It's on a farmstead which dates back five generations. They grow their own grapes on-site and ferment and bottle there as well. The owner say that's what helps their winery stand out above the rest.
After their wine is boxed, it can be served or sold in stores. The couple distributes the wine to a number of area retailers. When the Lounsberry's aren't busy working, they're often hosting events. Summer is peak season for entertainment at Hill Prairie Winery.
