Women added to suspect list

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) -- Two women have been added to the suspect list for recent burglaries to motor vehicles and forgeries. Targets include Champaign and surrounding areas of Illinois and Indiana.

Two male suspects are black. One is described as having a thin build. He was seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with a white heart on the front and gray shorts with a zebra-type stripe down the side.

The second suspect is heavy-set with short black hair. He was seen wearing a gray/black jacket, white t-shirt and blue pants with two stripes down the side.

The female suspects are white. The first is heavy-set with dark hair. She's seen wearing a black sweater and black-and-white skirt or dress.

The second female suspect has long, dark hair. She's seen wearing a mauve long-sleeved shirt and jeans.

The suspects are being considered persons of interest in more than one burglary where checks are stolen, cashed and used to buy gift cards at area businesses.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters are always 100% completely anonymous.

All tips submitted to Crime Stoppers are electronically stripped of any personally identifying information and processed by a third-party answering service, not law enforcement.

Cash rewards of up to $1,000 are paid for information leading to an arrest. Tipsters will never be asked their name and are given a secret code number to use when checking on a possible reward.
