Worker falls at State Farm Center

CHAMPAIGN -- A construction worker who fell at the State Farm Center is getting out of the hospital Thursday. The 28-year old was climbing almost ten feet up on a foundation brace. He was wearing safety equipment, but for some reason, he still fell. He's walking out of the hospital and will be okay.

CHAMPAIGN -- Crews responded to the State Farm Center for a report of a worker accident. The man fell about 20 feet to the ground from the top of a "wall form" or "foundation brace" being built on the outside of the facility. When emergency personnel arrived, a cut above the worker's eye had already been treated. The worker was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.
