John 'Chip' Rowe, MD
...has been practicing orthopedic medicine since 1989. He has extensive experience in joint replacement surgery and sports-related procedures.
Dr. Rowe graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Rowe has a special interest in hip replacement surgery. He is one of only approximately 3,000 surgeons in the United States who performs the 'anterior approach' for hip replacement, which does not involve cutting muscle. He is a former member of the USA National Water Polo Team. He also is a former competitor in the Iron Man Triathlon competition in Kona, Hawaii, which combines long-distance swimming, biking, and running.
