Central's Snider commits to Louisville

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Central infielder Jake Snider announced Wednesday night he has verbally committed to play baseball at Louisville.  Snider is a back-to-back all-conference selection after hitting better than .400 each of the last two seasons.  Last year Snider his .440 for the Maroons with 19 doubles and 22 stolen bases.  His father Eric was just hired this summer as an assistant coach for Louisville after spending the previous 16 seasons on Dan Hartleb's staff at Illinois.
