ST. JOSEPH, Ill. - St. Joseph-Ogden football coach Dick Duval said Thursday he is coming back for a 27th season as head coach of the Spartans.  Duval is retiring from teaching at the end of this school year, but he will remain as head coach and athletic director on what he called a "year-by-year" basis.

Duval has won 229 games in his SJO coaching career and led the Spartans to 23 consecutive playoff appearances.  His SJO teams have reached five state title games, but he is still in search of his first state championship.
