RANTOUL -- The Illini football coaches are hard at work preparing the team for the upcoming season. Wednesday, their wives joined them at Camp Rantoul. But, they weren't just there to watch.

They served up food in exchange for donations to the Rantoul Community Service Center. The women hope the money will help make up for state funding cuts. It offers mental health and social services to people in northern Champaign County.

The fundraiser gave fans a chance to eat and get an early look at the orange and blue. All the food served at the event was donated.
