CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - We're a little more than a week away from the spring game, and there has been no decision yet on who will be Illinois' starting quarterback this fall.  Wes Lunt, Aaron Bailey and Reilly O'Toole are all still splitting up the reps in spring practice.  Offensive coordinator Bill Cubit has said all along he will be patient with this group before making a decision.

"We're going a little bit further in than last year in terms of how to attack defenses because they've got a pretty good base," Cubit said.  "They're getting a lot better.  I think they're throwing the ball a lot better."

The Illinois coaching staff doesn't have to choose a starter by the end of the spring, and right now all three candidates are trying to make the most of their time under center.

"You get more comfortable with reps, and that's the most important thing," Lunt said.  "The more reps, the more comfortable you get."
