CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - As Illinois gets ready to play in the Big Ten Tournament Thursday, their postseason destination is still very much up in the air.  A first-round loss could send them to the CBI.  A deep run could send them to the NCAA Tournament - or somewhere in the middle, they'll probably head to the NIT.

It makes the games this weekend so important for Illinois (18-13), but head coach John Groce is trying not to get caught up in all the postseason possibilities.

"I really think it's just simply trying to be better than the team you're playing that night - that's it," Groce said.  "What the other 300+ other teams are doing that night has no influence on our game that day.  It's us and them."

Illinois will face Indiana in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament Thursday (11 a.m., BTN).
