URBANA, Ill. - The Illinois volleyball team is getting some national respect as they start their season.  The Orange and Blue are ranked No. 11 in the country by the national coaches.  Head coach Kevin Hambly's message this fall is consistency.  They struggled with that a year ago going just 18-15, and Hambly says they have to be better this season.

"I'm hoping that the depth of talent that we have will help us get through that," said Hambly.  "If a kid struggles in the past we've had to ride it out, and with the talent we have if a kid struggles I'll be like 'Hey look tonight's not your night.'  Hopefully we can get to a point where people can step up and make sure that we don't have those lulls."

Illinois tips off the season August 29th when they host the Illini Classic.
