CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) -- The Illinois men's basketball team has a few weeks off before reporting back for the fall semester. The Illini finished their summer workouts last week.
They spent most of their time getting back to the basics and getting in shape.
"We haven't spent a great deal of time, I think they're finding out what condition you've got to be in, how hard you have to work to do that," head coach Brad Underwood said. "Sprinting is something that is not done often on a basketball court... we do that. I love our versatility, we have a lot of versatility, guys can do a lot of different things and play a lot of different positions so that plays into that."
