Illinois basketball to host Georgetown

CHAMPAIGN (WCIA) -- The Illinois men's basketball team will host Georgetown in the Gavitt Tipoff Games. The game is part of the annual series featuring teams from the Big Ten and Big East, it's set for Nov. 13 at State Farm Center. The Hoyas are coached by former NBA standout Patrick Ewing.

This will be the third time the Illini have been a featured team in the Gavitt Games, they beat DePaul last year and lost at Providence in 2015.
