Illinois splits with Iowa, eliminated from B1G tourney

Illini take game one 12-8, lose nighcap 8-3 to end season

CHAMPAIGN -- The Illinois baseball team was officially eliminated from Big Ten tournament contention Friday night, splitting a doubleheader with Iowa, 12-8 in the first game and 8-3 in the nightcap.

Illinois finishes the season with a 23-28 overall record, 9-15 in the conference.
