JOLIET, Ill. - Former USC running back and five-star recruit Ty Isaac visited both Illinois and Michigan within the last week, and Thursday he made his decision on where he will transfer.  Isaac announced via Twitter Thursday morning he is headed to Ann Arbor to become a Michigan Wolverine.

Illinois had a chance with the former All-American running back, who had said he wanted to be closer to his ill mother in Joliet, and he also wanted to play in the Big Ten.  Isaac visited the Illinois facilities last week and the same field where he ran for 515 yards and six touchdowns in the state championship game two years ago.  Isaac will have three years of eligibility at Michigan.
