Bollant ready for challenge of turning Panthers WBB around

CHARLESTON -- Matt Bollant is three month into his tenure with the EIU women's basketball team. With his staff in place and a full recruiting class on campus, he's ready to turn the Panthers around.

"We talked to them last week, can you go from last to first?  It's two years in a row they've finished last and we're going to take a big jump.  Can we jump all the way to the top?  That's obviously what we're talking about and I kind of told them, these are the variables that have to happen," Bollant said. "We see some of those in place and some of them are yet to happen but that's our dream.  We want to be the most improved team in the OVC, the toughest team and see if we can make a huge jump."

Nearly half of their roster this season will be newcomers.
