Jeff Finke was officially named the head coach of the Champaign Central boys varsity basketball team Monday night. Finke has coached the last 5 years at Franklin Middle School and also with the Illinois Irish AAU basketball team (16U and 17U). Finke is a former football and basketball player at Illinois. His oldest Son Michael just finished his first season on the Illinois basketball team. He also has two other sons who play basketball. Nick is finishing his junior year, while Tim is finishing his Freshman year. They both currently go to Centennial.
