SAVOY -- He flew his first mission on D-Day. 70 years later, this Hometown Hero got to see a B-17 take to the sky once again.

The bomber is back at Willard, available for veterans or others to take a flight. Harold Huffman was there. He was a gunner during World War II and says he comes to see it every year just to remembers.

On Huffman's 25th mission, his plane was hit by gunfire and the crew had to crash land. He spent the last six months of the war in a Swedish hospital. Twelve flights are scheduled for this weekend.
