Through Skype we learned he's created a Facebook page for all the fallen military police officers killed in the global war on terror. On that page, he's asking for support for an event to honor all 223 of them this fall. He plans on hosting the Third Annual Tripler Fisher House 8K Hero & Remembrance Run, Walk or Roll.
During the event, he'll put patches on boots which will line the road. Those patches honor military members who've died since 2001. It's all because he's a military policeman who knows what it feels like to lose a fellow comrade.
Through the page, he's asking for donations to pay for patches. He's raised about $875 from strangers all over the country so far, but his goal is $2,000. He's also looking for people to sponsor 28 more military officers.
