Amish man powers buggy with sun

SULLIVAN -- Sunny skies are all one man needs to get around town.
SULLIVAN -- Sunny skies are all one man needs to get around town. Larry Yoder took an old Amish buggy and fitted it with solar panels.

It took him about months to build. The horseless carriage can go more than 30-miles on a full charge. It cruises about 14 miles-per-hour.

The buggy used to be a converted table at his family's restaurant. After it closed a few years ago, he found something to do with the popular seat.

The buggy is the third solar-powered vehicle Yoder designed. He's not done yet. His next project is to build a stretch buggy, just like a limo.
