Another student approached by stranger

CHAMPAIGN -- Unit 4 officials are warning parents about the third stranger danger incident in three weeks. In a letter to parents, Superintendent Judy Wiegand stated a Franklin Middle School student was approached on Harris Street between Maple and Vine.

A man said, "come with me." The student ran away. The man is described as black, in his mid-20's, about 6'. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.
